Artificial intelligence is increasingly influencing how government organizations operate, manage information, and support their workforce. During this SAIL webinar, Natalya H. Bah, founder of The Growth Group Academy, leadership development consultant, executive coach, and strategic adviser, provided a practical introduction to AI and its growing role in public sector workplaces.
Designed for government leaders, managers, and staff, the session explored AI fundamentals, real-world applications, and considerations for responsible implementation. Bah discussed how organizations can prepare for technological change, strengthen change readiness, and support employees as new tools and processes are introduced. Through practical examples and live demonstrations, participants examined how AI can assist with everyday workplace tasks while emphasizing the importance of leadership, communication, and workforce engagement throughout the adoption
Whitehead outlined strategies for helping teams move through change by encouraging mindset, behavior and routine shifts. He emphasized the importance of emotional intelligence, transparent communication and relationship management when leading through uncertainty. Participants also explored coaching techniques designed to help employees identify challenges, develop solutions and take ownership of next steps.
Attendees gained actionable insights into evaluating AI tools, preparing teams for change, and building organizational readiness for an evolving technology landscape.
