The Council of State Governments Southern Office (CSG South) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization serving the legislative and executive branches in 15 Southern states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.

With regional insight and national resources, CSG South provides government officials and staff with programs and services that facilitate cross-state collaboration, leadership development, and informed decision-making. Acting as an extension of our members’ offices, we provide:
