Welcome to the first edition of The Southern Pulse. As a member-driven organization, CSG South is excited to showcase the great work of our members and our office in our monthly newsletter. This fall, we revived our policy masterclass after a brief hiatus due to COVID-19. Additionally, legislators gathered in Arkansas for our annual Center for the Advancement of Leadership Skills (CALS). The CSG South policy team has been hard at work producing new research and building relationships with members new and old alike and beginning our planning for next year’s Annual Meeting in Oklahoma City. Needless to say, our team has been quite busy.
As we approach Thanksgiving and the holiday season, I can’t help but reflect on this past year and the changes we have seen in both our professional and personal lives. This year has shown that change is inevitable, but it also provides an opportunity to stay present and be our best selves. Our office has taken this opportunity to forge new relationships, bring people together in person again, and continue to be a resource for each of you.
As 2021 comes to an end, please know that our office is here for you and our team is eager to connect with you.
From myself and all of us at CSG South, Happy Thanksgiving!
